Where do I get picked up?
Addison County Tasting Tours start in Middlebury Vermont, with pickup available within 2 miles of greater Middlebury - we’ll pick you up at your location.
Chittenden County Tasting Tours start in Burlington Vermont, with pickup available at the following locations:
Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain - 60 Battery Street
Courtyard by Marriott - 25 Cherry Street
Hotel Vermont - 41 Cherry Street
Hilton Garden Inn - 101 Main Street
Waterfront Information Center - off Lake and College streets
Depending on your location, you should be ready for pick-up half an hour to 45 minutes before the tour is set to begin. Our bus seats 12 passengers — not including the driver and host — and our public tours are first-come, first-serve.
Please contact us if you have a large group or would like to book the entire bus for a private group or custom tour.
What’s included in the price of the tour?
Our tours are all-inclusive: round-trip transportation, 16+ tastings, a light lunch, server gratuities, taxes and keepsakes.
Where will we stop?
That depends on the tour. You can check out the tasting tour venues through the links below for a list of possible stops. The actual itinerary will be emailed to all attendees 48 hours before the scheduled tour.
Should I eat before the tour?
Yes, we recommend that you have breakfast before going on the tour to avoid drinking on an empty stomach.
Could my tour get canceled?
A tour could get canceled due to bad weather or if there are fewer than 4 booked seats. In the event there are too few bookings, attendees will be notified of the cancellation at least 48 hours in advance. Notification of cancellation due to bad weather will be made as soon as possible. Either way, a full refund will be issued — or if preferred — a booking for a future tour will be made.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code in Vermont — just please dress appropriately for the weather!
But for safety reasons, no open toe shoes are allowed on the bus.
What is your refund policy?
If you need to cancel a tour booking, please contact us as soon as possible with your information and order number, or call us at 802-377-3170. We offer a full refund for cancellations made 2 or more weeks in advance of the tour date. After that, a partial refund will be made as follows:
less than 2 weeks in advance of the tour date — 75% refund
less than 1 week in advance of the tour date — 50% refund
less than 2 days in advance of the tour date — no refund
Can I reschedule my tour?
Yes, but any date changes made less than 7 days before a tour will be subject to a $25 fee per attendee.
No date changes can be made less than 48 hours before a tour.
